How it's Done
In its simplest form, the ArithMagic puzzle has every row, column and diagonal adding up to the same number - the magic number for that puzzle. The aim is to find the magic number.
 
Adding 2 Numbers
Each square contains a sum of 2 numbers. Add the individual squares first and then the rows, columns and diagonals to find the magic number for each puzzle.
 
Adding 3 or more Numbers
Each square contains a sum of 3 numbers. Add the individual squares first and then the rows, columns and diagonals to find the magic number for each puzzle.
 
Addition and Subtraction
Each square contains a sum of 3 numbers with first addition and then subtraction. Calculate the individual squares first and then the rows, columns and diagonals to find the magic number for each puzzle.
 
Subtracting 1 Number
Each square contains a subtraction sum of 2 numbers. Calculate the individual squares first and then the rows, columns and diagonals to find the magic number for each puzzle.
 
Subtracting more than 1 Number
Each square contains a subtraction sum of 3 or more numbers. Calculate the individual squares first and then the rows, columns and diagonals to find the magic number for each puzzle.
 
Subtraction and Addition
Each square contains a subtraction and addition sum of 3 or more numbers. Calculate the individual squares first and then the rows, columns and diagonals to find the magic number for each puzzle.
